TOP 10 BOLLYWOOD MOVIE CHARTS PROPERLY SHAKEN UP IN Q2 BY TWO NEW HINDI MOVIES
Other new Bollywood Hindi movies like “Jolly LLB 2,” “The Ghazi Attack,” “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” “Commando 2” and “Phillauri” remain in the top 10 list, some of them rising a few ranks and others falling a few. Nevertheless, there are two new Hindi films that have found their way into the top 10. First, “Half Girlfriend” conquered the fifth rank with the help of 1.97 million P2P users sharing the movie. And second, the No. 10 spot has been taken over by the comedy-drama “Noor,” which hit theaters in India on April 21, 2017, jumping into the charts with 1.15 million fans sharing the movie.
While the movie “Kaabil” slipped down the podium from second place to seventh, “OK Jaanu” – the third-rank holder in the Hindi movie charts during the first quarter of the year – dropped out of the top 10 list completely. Then, during the second quarter, the formerly eighth-ranked action-drama “Rangoon” started to lose popularity among file sharers, resulting in yet another drop out.
