Our video fingerprinting and matching technology achieves high-quality matching performance at high processing speeds. It combines the best of both: machine learning and classical engineering-based computer vision.
RECOGNITION OF HIGHLY ALTERED VIDEOS
Our recognition is robust to scaling, rotation, mirroring, stretching, squeezing, perspective skew, (compression) artifacts, and partial occlusion – among others; both sub-frames and super-images of the original content can be recognized.
HIGH TRUE-POSITIVE RATES
Our powerful image matching core technology allows our video matching to offer a high true positive rate at a close-to-zero false positive rate, even when only detecting tiny portions of original content.
DETAILED RESULTS
For each matched video, we provide the number of matched keyframes and an estimate for the percentage of the original content based on the matches and their timestamp relationships; this percentage serves as a reliable measure when deciding whether to trigger further action.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL POST-PROCESSING
Depending on your needs, a more computationally expensive full frame-by-frame comparison of detected matches can be performed in a post-processing step, that would allow for the accurate computation of the covered percentage.
HIGHLY FLEXIBLE SEARCH AND MATCHING ENGINE
We currently offer two versions of the TECXIPIO Reverse Video Search API and you can decide whether you want to use the standard or advanced search. The standard search identifies duplicates and altered versions including rotation, scaling and brightness modification. The advanced search has been developed to also reliably identify heavily modified videos; it can also recognize occlusions and sub-, and super-images of original content. You decide according to your needs and budget because the visual search engine can be modified further – you may also need to check for horizontally mirrored, stretched or squeezed videos, – let us know about your application and we can adapt the API individually, which will increase its speed and decrease our costs and therefore also yours!
CONFIGURATIONS
The API includes the option to decide whether you need standard or advanced fingerprinting and matching with each API request. The advanced is based on a robust matching algorithm that identifies even highly-altered videos, including occlusions and sub-, and super-frames of the original video. The standard search will identify duplicates and videos that have been altered through rotation, scaling, or brightness modification.
Depending on your needs, we also offer the API with custom configurations that can recognize videos that have been horizontally mirrored, stretched, or squeezed. Since there are some set-up costs and we will block database space for you, there is a minimum number of 15,000 credits – worth 15€ – that you will be charged per month but there is no long cancellation period, you can delete your account at the end of a month (the last day) to the following month. If you register in the middle of a month, the minimum number of credits will apply proportionally until the end of the first month.
